Hose break safety devices from the SAFETY category protect the user and machines in the event of hose bursting or detachment, preventing the whip effect.
HOSE RUPTURE VALVES
This safety component protects individuals and work environments from damage that can occur in the event of bursting or tearing of a compressed air line. If damage occurs due to hose or pipe breakage, the hose break safety device immediately interrupts the flow except for a minimal residual flow.
Undamaged parts of the compressed air network remain under full pressure. The affected segment or the torn hose can be easily replaced without the need to shut down the entire compressed air supply. After the repair is completed, the residual flow gradually refills the segment to the working pressure level. Once this is reached, the hose break safety device reopens the line for normal operation.
