COMPRESSED AIR TECHNOLOGY IN PLANT ENGINEERING

Compressed air is used in plant engineering for various purposes, such as energy transfer, process control, equipment cleaning, and actuation of pneumatic components like valves and cylinders. It is versatile and provides an efficient means to control movements and processes in industrial plants.

PRESSURE REGULATORS FOR RECYCLING PLANTS

The pressure regulators control large air volumes to sort items such as waste or recyclable materials. In the discharge of the object being sorted, its trajectory is diverted from the originally projected path by a pulse of compressed air.

  • High pressure and temperature resistance
  • High mechanical durability
  • Protected against rust due to coating

The pressure regulators allow for the establishment of a closed control loop, and any air volumes can be controlled and implemented through different sizes.

PRODUCTS USED

NITROGEN PLANT RELIEF STATION

The relief stations are installed in nitrogen plants. They serve for filtering, pressure regulation, and relaxation of the gas used.

  • High pressure and temparature resistance
  • Made of stainless steel
  • Safety valve set and type-approved

Gases such as nitrogen and oxygen are 'relaxed,' filtered, and regulated to the required operating pressure.

PRODUCTS USED

CONTROL UNITS FOR COMPRESSED AIR MOTOTS IN SHEET-FED SCREENING PLANTS

Control units designed for installation on an arc screen plant to control the compressed air motor.

  • Automation of the originally manual cleaning process
  • Time-saving
  • Suitable fpr ATEX areas

A spindle, on which a cleaning lance is mounted, is driven. Upon reaching the end position, automatic switching occurs. The control replaces the manual cleaning of the arc screen. The controls can be built purely pneumatically, allowing them to be used in sensitive environments (ATEX).

PRODUCTS USED

CONTROL UNITS FOR GAS EXTINGGUISHING SYSTEMS AS VDS CERTIFIED CONTROL CABINET

CO2 gas extinguishing systems are used in areas where conventional extinguishing agents may damage property, such as in IT rooms. This helps to safely prevent or quickly contain fires in large building complexes.

  • Constructed with robust steel to withstand rigorous demands and operate safely, including withstanding overpressures.
  • Reliably switches various areas in case of emergency and maintains specific limits regarding switching times and pressures.
  • VdS or UL certifications are possible.
  • Variable number of extinguishing zones.

The control units safely switch gas extinguishing systems and have a variable number of extinguishing zones. They can be installed either in a control cabinet or on mounting plates.

PRODUCTS USED

CONTROL CABINETS FOR PLANT ENGINEERING INCLUDING SAFETY COMPONENTS

Two-hand controls for the safe operation of mixing plants for paint or other low-viscosity media.

  • Safety circuits can be implemented to prevent accidents.
  • All components are ATEX approved and can be used in sensitive areas.

Using the logic elements, painting, dosing, and mixing plants can be conveniently controlled without compromising safety. The unit controls a mixer and raises or lowers an agitator.

PRODUCTS USED

CONTROL CABINETS FOR MOBILE UNITS

Control cabinets for controlling throttle valves and throttle dampers in mobile material processing plants.

Robust, durable design for

  • High-vibration use in mobile mixing plants
  • Various temperature ranges from normal to low temperatures

The control cabinet controls throttle valves in mobile plants using air. The air used is purified in multiple stages to ensure a long service life of the system and to protect the subsequent valve technology.
